It’s just out of sudden when one of my friend came to house n show me one video from youtube.com which made me interested to this pretty little cute girl named Kaitlyn Maher, who is the youngest contestant of America’s got Talent 2008. She’s just turn to 4 yo but she can sing, dance, ballet etc n one of the most important thing is she has the confidence which many of us don’t have it… Grabbing some news about her and currently she is in the top 10 finalist! bravo!!!

I absolutely love Kaitlyn Maher. She is cute, innocent, charming, smart, and has a very pure voice – exactly what a child’s voice should sound like. As a music teacher for the past 20 years I have seen and heard a lot of children’s voices. Kaitlyn’s is pure and sweet and natural. She has a very bright future ahead of her if her parents will not push her too hard….. she needs time to be a child and let her voice develop naturally. The past couple of weeks I have been a little concerned about the song choices for Kaitlyn. She has a beautiful, light, high tone quality – exactly what it should be for her age. However, the songs she has been singing the past 2 or 3 weeks have been arranged in a key that is too low for her to sing comfortably and do not take advantage of those beautiful high tones. I encourage her parents and/or coaches to carefully select songs that are appropriately arranged for her voice so that she can shine like she did the first two weeks!
